Check your UAE Residence Visa Status online for DUBAI Residents. On the previous post, we have introduced how to check residence visa status online (using your passport details) if you are living/ working  outside   Dubai . Click HERE .  To check your Dubai / UAE residence visa status online, you will need your visa file number:  Visa File Number  - You can find this on the residence visa page attached to your passport.  See image below.  Basic Steps: Access the  UAE   General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs   (GDRFA)  online portal. You can access the portal by clicking the link >> AMER.GDRFA Residence Visa Check   Select “ Residence ” under File Type.  Enter your  Visa File Number . Enter all numbers in the visa file number. Enter your  First Name . Select your  Nationality  from the drop down. Enter your  Date of Birth .  Answer the “ reCAPTCHA ”. Hit on  Submit .  The page will show the status of your residence visa. The page should look like the image below.
